July 2011 Youth Confrence

Todd and I Chaperoned the Youth (Young Women) at the church as we headed to North Carolina to Western North Carolina University. There were about 600 youth that gathered their. Great experiences for the girls of our ward.

Mud Run 2011

Todd Participated in the Mud Run again this year. he ran with some guys at the corners office ( thus the name of there team) made by me! They did real well for a bunch of OLD Guys! Before and After Photos

Lindsay's 8th grade dance

Lindsay attended her 8th grade dance at school this year. She defiantly has her own sense of style. she put together her dance dress and was the hit of the party. As everyone else was in high heals she had her converse shoes on. Did i say that i make beautiful babies?

Prom -May 2011

Ashley attended a neighboring schools prom with a boy from Church. Wow I make beautiful babies. Todd did his best at intimidating the boy.

April 2nd 2011-Ashleys Birthday

Wow am i old enough to have a 16 year old? Yes it is true. i threw a surprise B-day for Ashley. yes she found out so it was not such a surprise, but none the less she had a great time.

March 2011 Ashleys 1st Job

The End of March 2011 Ashely got her 1st paying job. She started working at a pizza joint in the neighboring town.

No Excuses! One Year Gone!

I have no GOOD excuse to give for the reason that i have not posted in the last year. So i am going to TRY to do better about it. I cant go back and remember everything that happend in the past year but i do have a few photos that might help me remember. Look For them soon.

Todd's 25th Class Reunion

Wow, could I be married to someone that old? We went to West Virginia to Todd's class reunion. Why is it that the only ones that attend those things are the ones that live out of town? His graduating class had 230 in it 25 showed up and over 1/2 were from out of town. none the less fun was had by all.

Ashley Miami Bound

What is with my girls and Miami? They both have friends that spend the summers in Miami with their Dad's so they went to drop them off or pick them up. Ashley went for a week, may adventures took place, they went to Key West, Universal in Orlando and many others.

Youth Confrence -Trek

Ashley attended Youth Confrence with the Young Women and Young Men through our church and this year they went on Treck. They broke the group up in families and each family pulled a hand cart in the woods for 2 1/2 days totaling 19 miles. They were exausted and DIRTY to say the least. Unfortunately she would not let me take any photos of her because they had to wear pioneer type clothing and bonetts

Right when school let out Lindsay spent a few days in Miami with a friend.

Girls Camp-2010

So much has happened since my last post. The girls went right to girls camp, Lindsay's first year Ashley's 4th year. It was at a new place this year the girls were not so crazy about it, especially when everyone they have spoke to about their camp experience they say they sleep in cabins with an air conditioner and were able to bring electronics.(not in our area) They were in tents and of course it rained heavily and flooded their tents. I had to bring Ashley all new bedding. Sounds like Fun!

Mud Run

On Saturday Todd and Some people from Church participated in a Mud Run. You run a total of 4 mile and do 30 or so military obstacles. He had so much fun they trying to locate where the next one will be.

Spring Break 2010 Florida

Blue Water and white Sand, What else could you ask for! Last week was Spring Break for the girls at school so we loaded up the car and went to Penecola Fl Went to the Navy Base there and saw the Blue Angles Wow!My Crazy Family

New Beginnings

I have been very busy with my new Calling as YW Pres. and what has occupied alot of my time was The New Beginnings program, but it is over now. I thought the night was lovley even though Lindsay went home sick form chuch and was not able to attend. We had 8 former YW each speak 3 min on one of there assigned the Personal Progress Values and how that values shaped them in the the Wife, Mother and Leader they are today. (Lovley, Great Job!)

Feb.12th Birthday & Snow Fall

This year for my birthday Todd and I went to dinner at the Peddler in Greenville with Robbie and Lisa Goodson, the peddler is a pretty pricey restaurant, but the food was wonderful. May I suggest the Salmon. (Divine) The other gift was about 3 inches of snow which makes traveling in the south very interesting but we made it home without a scratch

Bowling for Fun

January 15th I took Ashley and her friends bowling, fun was had by all. One side note it was amazing that the young boy Ashley has had her eye on was there the same night and time as we where. (Does she think I was born yesterday?)

The New Year!

I spent my New Years Eve a little differently than those in the past. I felt like a teenager again, OK maybe not just like a teenager. I went to the Youth Dance this time not as a awkward teenager but as an awkward chaperon. The girls where very kind and one young man asked me to dance I think the girls must have bribed him.

The Big Day Arrived
