No Sugery Needed

Todd does not have to go to the Orthopedic Dr. His left foot is broke in 2 places on the outer side. He is wearing a big black Herman Monster Boot for 4 to 6 weeks. I will say he is not a good patient. But what man is a good patient.

New Trick

Todd has found a new trick.... We have 16 steps in the house and Todd has fond a new way to go up and down them. SLIDING UP AND DOWN ON HIS BACK SIDE! We go to the Dr tomorrow, I will keep you posted.

Mid Life Crisis

Today at Volleyball practice Todd showed his age, he was blocking a spike and fell on his foot wrong and broke his foot in two places. He will be attending the orthopedic Dr on Monday to see if surgery is necessary. I have told him time and time again that he is not 19 any more. Will keep you posted on the progress.

My Social Calender - Party

So as you find out when you have kids it is all about them filling their social calender with dance, sports and friends. Forgetting about yours. Well I decided that it had been a long time since my dance card had been punched. So I had a get together at the house for Adults Only. I invited a few people from church and a neighbors for a little bit of adult conversation. Everyone found babysitters and brought a dish. The theme was green due to St Patty's Day. We had green iced sugar cookies, spinach balls, layered dip Green lettuce being the top layer, and mint chip cookies and a cheese ball. Yes my camera was there but stayed on the refrigerator with not a photo taken, maybe next time.

My Daughter is going to High School

Wow it has hit me and hit me hard our oldest child (Ashley) will be entering into High School next year. Monday night we went to register her for High School. She signed up for classes that she wanted to take with some guidence from her mother and the adviser from the school. Where has all the time gone, I still can pickture her on her first day of kindergarden with her back pack standing next to the apple tree at our old house. She is getting so big and we are very proud of the young lady that she is turning in to.

The Girls Volleyball games have began this week, Lindsay's Team (Todd coach) have played 2 games lost both but very close matches. Ashley's Team has played 1 with 1 tonight, won 1st game we will see about tonight. They both have done very well and we are proud of them, Todd too. (he is very competitive and it is hard for him to lose)I will post some pictures of them in action soon. Tonight is the RS 167th Birthday Celebration as I am in the RS Presidency I will be there and not at Ashley's Game.

This Crazy Weather

CRAZY, CRAZY! As I posted last week that the weather has been crazy around here, Monday 3/2/09 it snows the schools are closed we have 3inches of snow and Monday 3/9/09 within a few days we break the 1974 record of 84* and now they are telling us that by Thursday the temp will be in the 40's with Rain. What am I to do, pull out the summer clothing or not? Help I am just a little confused!

Am I Still Alive................

Today on our way home from church ..... In the truck was myself (driver) Ashley (passenger) Lindsay and her friend Lacie we were traveling south about 60 mile an hour and we came to a cross road we were not required to stop but the cars traveling east to west were to stop. One car pulled out in front of us I new if I put on the brakes we would have T-boned the other car so I decided to go in the ditch (WE ARE ALL OK) the Truck is fine I rode the ditch out like a trooper as we came to a stop Lindsay in the back seat (the only one in the car without a seat belt)said "Am i Still alive" for whatever reason she thought that she was dead. What a Drama Queen. Would you believe that No one stopped to see if we were OK (got to love people)after about 4 min some people from church pulled up to see if we needed help. The Lord was truly watching after us today!
